2026 NNPS Annual Exhibition & Awards Presentation Evening
Another year, it’s exhibition time once again and we return to the centre of Holt at the Church Hall for one week.
Last Sunday afternoon (26th July) Nigel arrived at the hall with all the display stands, Mick and Val with the screen, PDIs, prints and a plan, and the ‘A-Team’ assembled the exhibition under their guidance ready for the following morning.
Stewarding by club members throughout the week has been going well, with increased footfall - no doubt helped by the location in town - and lots of interest being shown including the possibility of some new members. We wait until the exhibition closes on Saturday before announcing the results of the public vote for best image.
Yesterday evening, we had a very warm exhibition awards evening held in the Holt Church Hall which was well attended; much needed drinks and snacks were provided by Val. Before the awards we viewed on screen the NNPS entries for the 2026 GB Cup for Nature - a national event - in which we came a very creditable third with two members - Hanne and Bob (J) receiving prestigious PAGB ‘Ribbons’.
Next we viewed an interesting presentation from Val’s Project Group followed by the individual awards, presented by Paul, along with a showing of their successful images.
In PDI the awards were as follows: First (111pts) - Liz & Paul (R); Second (109pts) - Pauline & Robbie; and Third (108pts) - Gracie & Robert (G).
In Print: First (113pts) - Paul (R) & Robbie; Second (112pts) - Shirley & Liz; Third (111pts) - Val & Nick. Very closely scored competitions indeed.
The exhibition continues to run until Saturday afternoon for those who have not yet been able to come along. Then at 4pm the ‘A-Team’ will arrive to dismantle the exhibition for another year and we hope Nigel will have an uneventful journey in the van this year.

Well done everyone, the images and prints were fab. It's so good to see our work displayed and clearly enjoyed by our visitors.
