We have received the following, which may be of interest to some Members.
Now in their sixth year, our courses offer the perfect opportunity to combine a relaxing and stimulating experience with learning how to tell a story through your photography. All of our courses are fully inclusive, with accommodation, home cooked meals and tuition included in the price. Participants will stay on Easdale, the smallest permanently-inhabited Inner Hebridean island which is accessible only by passenger ferry. There are no cars on the island, and it has around 65 permanent residents. There are just six places available on each course, and participants will stay on the island for three nights in two beautifully-appointed traditional cottages. All you have to do is get to the island, relax and develop your photography skills.
We are offering two contrasting courses for 2022, with two different dates for each course: Practical Storytelling focuses on enhancing your practical camera skills to put together a series of images into an edited story, while Develop Your Narrative is aimed at nurturing artistic skills and exploring how photography can be used as a visual language. With both our courses we aim for each participant to produce their own story by the conclusion of the second and final day. With our small group sizes, we ensure that all participants have the opportunity to receive one-to-one support from our tutors Colin McPherson and Adam Lee, as well as engaging in group activities and discussions.
