NNPS Project Group
Every year North Norfolk Photography Society runs a project for members interested in developing their photography knowledge and skills.
Each year a different theme is chosen. Members meet each month, share images they have taken, inspire each other, and discuss tips and techniques. At the end of the project, an Audio Visual presentation is created to showcase the work produced.
Participation in the feedback sessions remains £2. Further dates will be agreed for workshops as conditions allow.
2023-24
Three themes have been chosen this season which are Gardens, Architecture and Creative. All three themes will run throughout the year.
In addition to sharing our images, we also try to learn new techniques either in taking the image or post processing. Full details of the topics/tutorials and dates of all the meetings are in the attached document which you can download (see link below)
2021-2022
For 2021-2022, the theme is “The Food Chain”. The dates of meetings and their locations will appear in the Programme.
2020-2021
For 2020-21, the theme was “Focus on Water”, where water (in all its forms) is an integral (not incidental) part of the story in an image. The AV of this project was shown at our Annual Exhibition, and very well received.
2019-2020
For 2019-20, the theme of “The Magic of Light” was chosen. Whilst Covid-19 interrupted the project and meant we had no exhibition, we completed the meetings online and produced a fantastic AV nonetheless.
2018-2019
For 2018-19, the overarching theme was “Coast”: members got out into their local area, capturing a variety of pictures, showing local places and activities through changing seasons, light, and conditions.
